Bouldering & Stewardship Weekend: Grayson Highlands

We will kick things off Saturday morning at 9:30am at the Listening Rock Trail parking lot with a focus on trail work in the Back of Beyond and the Luminary Area. These two areas are home to some amazing problems that will be in the second guidebook and this will be a good opportunity to see them for yourselves. 

Saturday night the park is graciously allowing volunteers to camp in the Picnic Area (don’t miss out on the night session at the Olympus boulder). On Sunday we will wake up and get the morning started with the Grayson Raffle. This event’s raffle is sweeter than a fresh batch of White Top maple syrup so bring some cash money for a fist full of winning tickets. 

After the raffle we will break up into two groups with one group doing work at the Outlaw Boulder and the other heading to add some trail markers to a new boulder field called the Lowgarden.
